Upcoming drama “Marry YOU” (literal title) has released its first teaser!
“Marry YOU” is a comedic family drama that follows the romance between Bong Chul Hee (Lee Yi Kyung), a bachelor from a remote island whose life goal is marriage, and Jung Ha Na (Jo Soo Min), a level 7 civil servant who is determined to stay single.
Lee Yi Kyung plays Bong Chul Hee, a kind-hearted man from the island village of Cheongdo. He is known for doing various jobs in the village and raising his twin nieces on his own. After meeting Jung Ha Na, he begins to see marriage as his new life goal.
The teaser gives a glimpse of Lee Yi Kyung fully embodying his character Chul Hee. He evokes laughter with his adorable perm, flashy clothes, and great sense of humor. In one scene, Chul Hee is shown on a blind date, accompanied by a playful caption calling the drama “a national project to promote marriage.”
