“Spice Up Our Love,” the upcoming spin-off drama of “No Gain No Love,” has finally announced its broadcast date!
“Spice Up Our Love” is a fantasy romance drama about Nam Ja Yeon (Han Ji Hyun), a writer of a steamy R-rated web novel who unexpectedly finds herself transported into her own story as the female lead Seo Yeon Seo. She soon becomes tangled in an unpredictable romance with her novel’s male protagonist Kang Ha Joon (Lee Sang Yi).
“Spice Up Our Love” (the original Korean title literally translates to “The CEO’s Menu”) is the title of Nam Ja Yeon’s web novel in the original series “No Gain No Love,” and the spin-off will largely take place within the world of that novel.
Lee Sang Yi stars as Kang Ha Joon, the gruff CEO of GB Electric and the flawless male lead from Nam Ja Yeon’s web novel. Han Ji Hyun portrays both Nam Ja Yeon, a web novelist, and Seo Yeon Seo, the female lead of Nam Ja Yeon’s web novel and a nutritionist.
The poster showcases the sizzling chemistry between Kang Ha Joon and Seo Yeon Seo as he wraps his arm around her waist, exuding tension and desire. The tagline, “I woke up and found myself as the female lead in my own R-rated web novel!” teases Nam Ja Yeon’s unusual predicament. Her panic only grows when she realizes that her perfect male lead Kang Ha Joon is not her intended muse Yeo Ha Joon (Lee Yoo Jin), but instead Bok Gyu Hyun (Lee Sang Yi).
Anticipation builds as viewers wonder how Nam Ja Yeon, desperate to escape her own novel and return to reality, and Kang Ha Joon, who only has eyes for her, will navigate this unpredictable love story.
“Spice Up Our Love” will premiere two episodes on TVING on October 3.
