Kim Woo Bin expressed his admiration for his longtime girlfriend, Shin Mina, during an interview about his newly released Netflix movie Officer Black Belt.
In the film, Kim Woo Bin plays Lee Jeong Do, a delivery guy who becomes an indefinite contractor at the Ministry of Justice. With a 9th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, Kendo, and Judo, he helps probation officer Kim Seon Min (played by Kim Sung Kyun) in closely monitoring individuals with electronic ankle bracelets following their release from prison.
Kim Woo Bin first discussed the overwhelming support he and Shin Mina have received from fans since making their relationship public. He laughed, saying, “All the love from our fans is so sweet, but sometimes we just need a little break. We’re grateful for everything, though.”
He added, “She’s such a great person that I feel I’m benefiting a lot from her presence. She really enjoyed the movie and gave me positive feedback. She mentioned that she was glad to learn about the role of assistant parole officers through this film and appreciated the hard work involved. As for her saying I looked cool, I didn’t get a chance to hear that.”
Officer Black Belt stars Kim Woo Bin and Kim Sung Kyun and is directed by Kim Joo Hwan, who also directed Midnight Runners.
The film was released globally on Netflix on the 13th.
