BJ Fruity Seyeon, who recently made headlines after being spotted in LA with HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, is once again the talk of the internet—this time, for her surprisingly affordable fashion choices.
Back in May, Seyeon revealed in a YouTube interview that her annual income reached 3 billion KRW (approx. 2.2 million USD). But a recent online community post titled “The Shocking Price of Seyeon’s Outfit” sparked buzz. The post read, “Didn’t she say she makes 3 billion KRW a year? But look at this,” pointing to her outfit.
The look in question, worn during her LA meetup with Bang Si Hyuk, turned out to be from Chinese online retailer SHEIN, specifically a Y2K slim-fit graffiti print top and skirt priced at 5,900 KRW (approx. 4.50 USD). The exact outfit can still be found on SHEIN for 11.79 USD, currently discounted by 40% to 7.07 USD.
However, whether Seyeon actually bought the outfit from SHEIN remains unconfirmed.
Fans were quick to react to the revelation, with comments like, “I thought for sure it was designer!” and “She’s got that ‘fashion is all about attitude’ vibe, lol.” Another fan joked, “I had to do a double-take, I thought it said 5.9 million won!” while others were left wondering, “Is this a typo? 5,900 KRW?”
