“You Will Die in 6 Hours” has new stills showcasing NCT’s Jaehyun’s compelling performance!
Based on the Japanese novel by Takano Kazuaki, “You Will Die in 6 Hours” follows Jung Yoon (Park Ju Hyun), who learns from death prophet Jun Woo (Jaehyun) that she will die in six hours. The story unfolds as the two race to change her fate by tracking down the killer.
Jaehyun will make his big screen debut portraying Jun Woo, a mysterious figure who can foresee people’s deaths. While crossing the street, Jun Woo encounters Jung Yoon and predicts that she will die in six hours. Together, they embark on a tense six-hour journey to prevent her death and capture the murderer.
Jaehyun explained his motivation for joining the film, saying, “When I read the script for ‘You Will Die in 6 Hours,’ it flowed effortlessly. The six-hour journey that Jun Woo and Jung Yoon go through was particularly intriguing to me.”
Jaehyun’s portrayal of Jun Woo, a character who conceals his emotions and harbors a deep secret, highlights his ability to convey complex emotions through intense expressions and nuanced acting.
The newly released stills show Jun Woo holding back his frustration, offering a glimpse into Jaehyun’s emotional range and building anticipation for the events that unfold during Jun Woo and Jung Yoon’s six-hour journey.
Director Lee Yoon Seok praised Jaehyun, noting, “He’s an actor with a face that carries diverse charm and is a shining raw talent. His passion as an actor is strong, and as soon as filming began, his eyes changed, and he completely immersed himself in the character.”
“You Will Die in 6 Hours” is set to hit theaters in October.
