KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Iron Family” has unveiled its third teaser video!
Penned by screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang of “Pasta,” “Don’t Dare to Dream” (also known as “Jealousy Incarnate”), and “Wok of Love,” “Iron Family” is a dark comedy about a family that has run a laundry business for three generations.
The newly released teaser adopts the format of the well-known Korean documentary program “Screening Humanity.” The narration in the video introduces Lee Da Rim (Geum Sae Rok) and her family, who are struggling financially while running their laundry business.
In one scene, Da Rim, despite her blindness, is shown helping with ironing. When asked whether it is dangerous for her to handle the task, she responds casually, “It’s okay. I’ve been doing it since I was young.”
The teaser then shifts to her grandmother An Gil Rye (Kim Young Ok), who is seen ironing paper money. When questioned by the production team about her actions, she replies nonchalantly, “I’m money-laundering,” and then looks startled as if her biggest secret has been exposed. This hilarious moment piques viewers’ anticipation about the intriguing dynamics of this quirky family.
The video also features Baek Ji Yeon (Kim Hye Eun), the wife of the Jiseung Group chairman, in a scene where she screams as her money is stolen by a thief. Meanwhile, Da Rim’s mother Go Bong Hee (Park Ji Young) is shown counting a large sum of money, sparking curiosity about what has led to this contrasting situation between the two families.
