Before its premeire, the movie has revealed a teaser poster showcasing its stylish visuals. “Heavy Snow” is a winter romance about high school star Seol (Han So Hee) and aspiring actor Su An (Han Hae In), who reconnect and rediscover each other after drifting apart due to misunderstandings.
Selected for the Jeonju International Film Festival’s Korean Competition, “Heavy Snow” sold out tickets within a minute. The film has also drawn interest from international festivals, increasing excitement for its domestic release.
In her big screen debut, Han So Hee stars as Seol, a high school actress who has been performing since childhood but is unsure of what she truly wants. The film follows Seol meeting Su An, a passionate actor from a performing arts high school in Gangneung. Featuring snow-covered mountains and powerful winter waves, the image of Seol and Su An standing together creates a serene, dreamlike scene. This adds to the excitement for the heartfelt relationship the two actors will portray. The taglines, “On that day, we were buried in each other,” and, “This October, Su An to Seol,” suggest deep chemistry between the characters, promising nuanced depictions of their emotions through the actors’ expressions, gestures, and dialogue.
