Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun’s Korean adaptation of “You Are the Apple of My Eye” has released a new poster and teaser!
Adapted from the popular Taiwanese coming-of-age romance film of the same name, “You Are the Apple of My Eye” tells the story of Jin Woo (Jinyoung), an 18-year-old who spends countless days building up the courage to confess his feelings to Seon Ah (Dahyun), his first love.
On September 3, it was announced that the film has been officially invited to the World Premiere section of the Korean Cinema Today – Panorama segment at the 29th Busan International Film Festival. To celebrate this prestigious invitation, the film unveiled a special poster and teaser.
The poster captures Jin Woo, Seon Ah, and their friends in school uniforms, flashing bright smiles against a backdrop of clear blue skies—a nostalgic nod to the cherished moments of youth.
The teaser deepens the nostalgia, showcasing the joyous, carefree moments of school life. It highlights Jin Woo and his friends laughing, chatting, and goofing around, while also offering a glimpse of Jin Woo beginning to fall for Seon Ah, who also gradually starts to reciprocate his feelings. The teaser closes with Jin Woo’s heartfelt narration: “The girl we liked back then was our dream and youth. The us of that time were shining.”
