Upcoming series “Seoul Busters” has unveiled its main poster and trailer!
“Seoul Busters” is a new comedy crime drama that follows the transformation of the country’s lowest-ranking violent crimes unit into the nation’s top team after they are paired with a highly skilled team leader. The drama is penned by screenwriters Lee Young Chul, known for the “High Kick” series and “The Best Hit,” and Lee Kwang Jae of “Potato Star 2013QR3.”
The new poster, which captures the fun vibe of the show, features the crime unit investigation team—Dongbang Yoo Bin (Kim Dong Wook), Moo Joong Ryeok (Park Ji Hwan), Jung Jung Hwan (Seo Hyun Woo), Seo Min Seo (Park Se Wan), and Jang Tan Sik (Lee Seung Woo)—in front of their temporary headquarters at a daycare center, each flaunting their unique personalities.
In contrast to the team’s serious demeanor, the poster’s tagline humorously reads, “We’re lacking in results, but who says we’re lacking in charm?” Even though the squad has the lowest arrest rate in the country, their engaging stories, colorful characters, and surprising combinations promise dynamic thrills and excitement for viewers.
Meanwhile, the trailer shows the first meeting between ultra-elite team leader Dongbang Yoo Bin and the members of the nation’s worst crime team—Moo Joong Ryeok, Jung Jung Hwan, Seo Min Seo, and Jang Tan Sik—who are known for their hasty decisions, slow actions, and loose talk. The trailer opens with a dramatic clash, hinting at a fate that could be either a curse or destiny for these closely linked characters. Dongbang Yoo Bin, who graduated at the top of his police academy class and completed advanced FBI training, chooses fieldwork over a prestigious career. This decision marks the start of a chaotic yet exciting team dynamic as he teams up with the lowest-ranking crime team in the country.
The trailer then builds excitement with Dongbang Yoo Bin’s intense look as he announces, “We’re switching to a murder case.” After Dongbang Yoo Bin joins, the upgraded crime team takes on a murder case as their first major assignment. Highlights include Moo Joong Ryeok’s impressive homeless disguise and his relentless investigative drive, Seo Min Seo’s fiery personality and blunt praise, Jung Jung Hwan’s focus on promotion and survival, and rookie Jang Tan Sik collapsing after being hit by his own taser.
