The highly anticipated space romance drama starring Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho has finally revealed its broadcast plans! On August 26, it was announced that Ask the Stars (working title, also known as Where the Stars Gossip), starring Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho, will air on tvN next year.
In response to this report, a rep for tvN confirmed: “ Ask the Stars is scheduled to air as a weekend drama in the first half of 2025.” This drama, in development since 2022, finished filming in April 2023.
Ask the Stars is a new romantic comedy about an astronaut and a tourist who meet and fall in love on a space station. Lee Min Ho plays a gynecologist named Gong Ryong, who spent an astronomical sum to travel to space as a tourist. Gong Hyo Jin plays the role of astronaut Captain Eve Kim, a perfectionist who tolerates no mistakes.
The drama will be directed by director Park Shin Woo, known for It’s Okay to Not Be Okay et Lovestruck in the City, while the screenplay will be written by Seo Sook Hyang, screenwriter of the hits Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate) and Pasta.
