Kim Soo Hyun will return with the new Disney Plus K-drama titled Knock-Off, which promises a captivating and wide-ranging story.

Knock-Off tells the story of a man whose life is turned upside down by the financial crisis of the MFI, transforming him from a simple office worker into the king of the global counterfeiting market. Set to release in 2025, the series stars Kim Soo Hyun as Kim Sung Joon, the rising emperor of the counterfeiting world.

Kim Soo Hyun’s character, Kim Sung Joon, loses his job due to the MFI crisis and then dives into the counterfeiting market, eventually becoming vice president of “Sammul Market”. The actor promises a stellar performance as he portrays the rise of Kim Sung Joon, who extends his influence beyond Korea to dominate the global counterfeiting market. With successes like The Queen of Tears, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay et My Love from the Star, Kim Soo Hyun is already considered a “guarantee of success”, and his fans are eagerly waiting to see him shine again in this role of ultimate boss.

At her side, Jo Bo Ah, actress recognized for her talent in dramas like Tale of the Nine-Tailed et Military Prosecutor Doberman, will play Song Hye Jung, Kim Sung Joon’s ex-girlfriend and a police officer specializing in the fight against counterfeit products. Their intense and tense relationship, a game of cat and mouse, promises to add suspense and excitement to the plot. The unprecedented visual chemistry between Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah in Knock-Off is already generating a lot of anticipation.

The series will be directed by Park Hyun Seok, known for his work on Song of the Bandits et Strangers 2, and written by Han Jung Hoon, scriptwriter of the dramas Song of the Bandits, Bad Guys, and Squad 38, which further builds credibility and excitement around the project.
