Both KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” and tvN’s “Love Next Door” soared to new heights last night!
On August 25, viewership ratings for “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” broke past the 20 percent mark for the first time. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 20.5 percent, setting a new personal record for the show and continuing its reign as the most-watched program of the entire week.
“Beauty and Mr. Romantic” also achieved its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 3.7 percent.
“Love Next Door” similarly earned its highest ratings yet for its fourth episode, which took first place in its time slot with a nationwide average of 6.6 percent.
Channel A’s new drama “Cinderella at 2 AM” rose to an average nationwide rating of 0.8 percent for its second episode, while TV Chosun’s “DNA Lover” maintained its nationwide average of 0.8 percent for its fourth episode.
Finally, JTBC’s “Romance in the House” wrapped up the first half of its run on a rise in viewership, climbing to an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent for its sixth episode.
