Jo Min Soo, Jung Jin Young, and Jeon Suk Ho will join Jeon Hye Jin in the upcoming drama “Riding Life” (literal translation)!
Based on the novel of the same name, “Riding Life” tells the relatable story of a single mother and her daughter, who grew up to become a working mom. Directed by Kim Cheol Kyu of “Flower of Evil,” the series will explore themes such as private education and children being raised by their grandparents.
Jeon Hye Jin will star as Lee Jung Eun, who works in marketing in the competitive beauty industry while also striving to keep up with her 7-year-old daughter’s education. Having had to grow up quickly to help out her busy mother, Lee Jung Eun’s unresolved frustrations with her mother resurface as she raises her own daughter.
Jo Min Soo will showcase a new side of herself in her role as Jeon Hye Jin’s mother. She will play Yoon Ji Ah, a child art therapist who raised her daughter, Jung Eun, on her own. When Ji Ah starts taking her granddaughter to after-school programs at Jung Eun’s request, she encounters a new world previously absent from her life.
Jung Jin Young will play Jo Min Soo’s love interest Lee Young Wook, an English professor who finds new excitement in his later years after meeting Ji Ah at his granddaughter’s after-school program.
Finally, Jeon Suk Ho will play Hong Jae Man, the husband of Jeon Hye Jin’s character. Hong Jae Man is a home shopping merchandise director who is immature and often scolded by his wife. Despite his work struggles, he always prioritizes his family.
“Riding Life” has already begun filming and is set to premiere in the first half of 2025.
