TVING’s upcoming historical drama “Queen Woo” has unveiled the first look at Jung Yu Mi’s intriguing character!
“Queen Woo” is a historical action drama that follows the story of Queen Woo (Jeon Jong Seo), who becomes the target of five tribes seeking to gain authority and princes who are after the throne following the sudden passing of the king.
The drama also stars Kim Moo Yeol, Ji Chang Wook, Lee Soo Hyuk, Park Ji Hwan, and more.
Jung Yu Mi stars as Woo Soon, the elder sister of Queen Woo and the head of the palace maids. Woo Soon is celebrated as the most beautiful woman in the northern region, known for producing queens for generations. Once certain that she would become queen, her destiny takes an unexpected turn when her younger sister Woo Hee makes a choice that leads her to the throne instead.
Determined to reclaim what she believes is rightfully hers, Woo Soon enters the palace as the head maid, serving her sister closely while secretly plotting her rise to power.
As she attempts to win over King Go Nam Moo (Ji Chang Wook) to fulfill her ambitions, the king’s sudden death disrupts her plans, leaving viewers in suspense—will Woo Soon ultimately claim the throne she once thought was destined for her?

Part 1 of “Queen Woo” will be released in full on August 29, followed by the complete release of Part 2 on September 12.
