BTS member Suga will soon be summoned by the police for questioning regarding his DUI charges. The police plan to finalize the date for Suga’s summons this week. The police have stated that all investigations will be conducted under the same standards as other suspects, without any special treatment or violation of human rights.

A police spokesperson announced at a press briefing on August 19th that Suga’s police questioning will be scheduled for this week. Due to ongoing investigations, the exact date and time have yet to be determined, but authorities confirmed there will be no summons over the weekend or nighttime.

Suga is likely to appear for questioning privately. The police explained, “We cannot create a photo line. We will follow the same standards as other suspects.”

Police officials also announced they would conduct a comprehensive investigation into the DUI incident, including all related suspicions.

Addressing claims that Suga and HYBE tried to minimize the incident by referring to the “electric scooter” as an “electric kickboard”, the police said, “Standard procedures for traffic violations are explained during on-site inspections. Whether Suga’s statements were due to intoxication or another reason is unclear. Any potential attempts by HYBE to mislead the public will be investigated thoroughly.”

HYBE has implemented strict security measures in response to the Suga incident. According to multiple reports, information about the case is being tightly controlled, with only a select group of high-level executives involved. The agency is focusing its efforts on cooperating with the police investigation and has limited external communication for those directly connected to the matter.
