BTOB’s Changsub has been announced as the first mentor for SBS’s upcoming survival show “Universe League”!
On August 15, SBS unveiled a teaser video introducing Changsub as the first mentor (referred to as “manager”) for its upcoming global boy group audition program “Universe League.”
“Universe League” is the second season and male version of “Universe Ticket,” the audition program that recently gave rise to the new girl group UNIS. “Universe League” will showcase a league of teams battling against each other, with the ultimate goal of winning the “Prism Cup” and securing their debut. Previously, Jay Park was announced as the MC of the show.
A notable aspect of the program is the incorporation of sports elements. In “Universe League,” a total of three representative K-pop artists will serve as managers for each team, selecting trainees and making strategic trades to build the strongest lineup.
As the manager of team GROOVE, Changsub will oversee everything from trainee selection to production. Renowned for his vocal prowess, Changsub has also proven his coaching skills through various programs like “C.T.O Project – The Survival.” Beyond the screen, he continues to mentor aspiring artists by managing a music academy.

“Universe League” is set to premiere in November. Stay tuned for more manager reveals!
