Gong Min Jeung and Jang Jae Ho are officially tying the knot. The pair, who first captured hearts as a couple on-screen in Marry My Husband, will soon become one in real life.
According to IZE’s confirmation on the 16th, Gong Min Jeung and Jang Jae Ho will exchange vows in early September at a private ceremony in Seoul. The wedding will be a close-knit affair, attended only by family and close friends. The couple first starred together as husband and wife in Marry My Husband, where Gong played Yang Ju Ran and Jang portrayed Lee Jae Won. Although their characters parted ways in the drama, their love blossomed off-screen, leading to this happy union.
In Marry My Husband, Gong Min Jeung and Jang Jae Ho played a couple with an age difference, but in reality, they’re both the same age, born in 1986. The couple, who were colleagues and friends before becoming romantically involved, grew closer while filming the drama. Their on-screen chemistry translated into real life, and they soon transitioned from friends to lovers. The lovebirds are currently busy preparing for their big day.
Gong Min Jeung has made a name for herself as a star in the independent film scene, later gaining wider recognition through supporting roles in commercial films. She left a strong impression with her role in the 2019 film Kim Ji-young: Born 1982. Beyond the big screen, Gong has also been active in television, appearing in popular dramas like Familiar Wife, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Little Women, and One Dollar Lawyer. She also played Huh Ji An in the Netflix series Daily Dose of Sunshine.
Jang Jae Ho, known for his handsome looks and versatile acting, has been active across theater, film, and television. He has appeared in dramas like Confession and The Spy Who Loved Me, as well as films such as Project Wolf Hunting and Devils.
