The upcoming South Korean LGBTQ+ romantic film “Love In The Big City” is scheduled to hit theaters on October 2, 2024, according to information provided by production company Plusm Entertainment via an Instagram update on August 12, 2024. This announcement was accompanied by a main poster showing Kim Go-eun and Steve Noh having a nice time in an aesthetically pleasing room.
“Love In The Big City”, also known as “Daedosiui Sarangbeob”, is directed by Lee Eon-hee, a director known for works such as “The Killer’s Shopping List”, “The Accidental Detective 2: In Action” , “Love Exposure”, “Missing” and other projects. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Park Sang-young.
The plot
The upcoming film “Love in the Big City” tells the story of Jae-hee, a bold woman, and Heung-soo, a quiet man. Jae-hee is known for her arrogant and bold attitude, while Heung-soo does everything to keep his sexual orientation a secret. Subsequently, the two characters become closer and try to protect each other by hiding their secrets. Jae-hee and Heung-soo decide to start living together and look for love in the big city.
