TVING’s upcoming historical drama “Queen Woo” (literal translation) has shared stills of Jeon Jong Seo!
“Queen Woo” is a historical action drama that follows the story of Queen Woo, who becomes the target of five tribes seeking to gain authority and princes who are after the throne following the sudden passing of the king.
The newly released poster features Queen Woo Hee (Jeon Jong Seo), who is at the center of a battle for the throne, along with five key figures surrounding her. Next to the text that reads, “I decided to become Queen once more to survive,” Woo Hee’s resolute facial expression reveals her determination.
The poster also features King Go Nam Moo (Ji Chang Wook), the leader of the royal guards Moo Gol (Park Ji Hwan), the third prince Go Bal Gi (Lee Soo Hyuk), Prime Minister Eul Pa So (Kim Moo Yeol), and the head of the maids Woo Soon (Jung Yu Mi). The intricate relationships among these characters heighten the curiosity about their intertwined fates.
The main trailer that was released alongside the poster previews a gripping 24-hour chase between Queen Woo Hee and the factions vying for the throne, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
Following the sudden death of Go Nam Moo, Woo Hee faces a crisis that threatens both her and her family’s survival. To save everyone, she decides to follow the tradition of “chisuhon” (levirate marriage), in which a widow marries her deceased husband’s brother, and resolves to become Queen once again.
