Upcoming drama “Black Out” has unveiled the captivating character posters of Bae Jong Ok, Kwon Hae Hyo, and Jo Jae Yoon!
Adapted from the best-selling German mystery novel “Snow White Must Die,” “Black Out” is a crime thriller drama that follows the story of a young man accused of murder in a mysterious case where no corpses were found. 11 years later, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth of that fateful day.
Bae Jong Ok stars as Ye Young Sil, a three-term National Assembly member from Mucheon City, while Kwon Hae Hyo portrays Hyun Goo Tak, the head of the Mucheon Police Station who works alongside Young Sil. Jo Jae Yoon plays Shim Dong Min, a father whose life was shattered by the death of his only daughter.
The newly released posters offer intriguing glimpses into the three characters. In Ye Yeong Sil’s poster, she appears anxious, with her hands clasped over her mouth as the murder case resurfaces. The caption, “It seems the misfortune from long ago wraps around us again like a ghost,” hints at her troubled state of mind and adds to the mystery surrounding her character.
In Hyun Goo Tak’s poster, he is depicted with a conflicted expression and a blurred hand, reflecting his ambiguous stance. Despite helping the accused murderer Go Jung Woo (Byun Yo Han), he maintains a distance, as conveyed by the caption, “No matter how much you insist that you don’t remember anything, it doesn’t erase your crime.”
Meanwhile, Shim Dong Min’s poster features him with teary eyes and a stern expression as he points directly at someone. The caption reveals his intense anger, stating, “My wish? That you die. That you die just like my daughter.”
“Black Out” is set to premiere on August 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
