Jeong Eun Ji recently opened up about her romance with Miss Night and Day co-star Choi Jin Hyuk.
In an interview conducted at IST Entertainment office, Jeong Eun Ji discussed her experience filming Miss Night and Day. Miss Night and Day is a whimsical rom-com about a job seeker trapped in an elderly body during the day and a talented prosecutor who gets entangled with her.
The Miss Night and Day team made a recent appearance on the YouTube show “Zzanbro.” During the show, Lee Jung Eun asked Choi Jin Hyuk about his thoughts on Jeong Eun Ji, to which he replied that she was more like a brother to him. But their chemistry on the show sparked curiosity among fans about the potential for real-life romance between the two.
Jeong Eun Ji, however, clarified the situation, stating, “(There’s) zero chance.” She shared, “I saw his interview where he said he deliberately spoke less to me to avoid becoming too comfortable. I didn’t notice at the time, but recently I’ve realized that he’s treated me like a girl on the set. We met on the day of the final episode, and he was treating me more like a little brother.”
When asked if Lee Jung Eun, who was eager to see them together, was disappointed, Jeong Eun Ji responded, “She kept bringing it up everywhere we went. She asked if it made me uncomfortable. I told her, ‘It’s funny, but I’d appreciate it if you stopped.’ She understood and stopped right away.”
