BTS’s Jimin’s new title track is climbing up the Billboard Hot 100!
Last week, Jimin’s solo song “Who”—the title track of his second album “MUSE”—made an impressive debut at No. 1 on three different Billboard charts: the Global 200, the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and the Digital Song Sales chart. “Who” also entered Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States, at No. 14—making it the highest new entry on the chart that week.
On August 6 local time, Billboard revealed that Jimin had held onto his spot at No. 1 on the Global 200, the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and the Digital Song Sales chart, with “Who” topping all three charts for the second week in a row and successfully defending its position as the best-selling song of the week in the United States.
Additionally, “Who” rose to a new peak of No. 12 in its second week on the Hot 100—a rare feat for K-pop songs on the main U.S. chart. The track also hit a new peak of No. 18 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart, where it debuted at No. 25 last week.
Meanwhile, Jimin’s new album “MUSE” stayed strong at No. 17 in its second week on the Billboard 200, in addition to remaining No. 2 on the World Albums chart. “MUSE” also swept the No. 10 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart in its second week.
Finally, Jimin ranked No. 6 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking his 13th overall week on the chart.
Congratulations to Jimin!
