Singles Korea has released an exclusive interview video featuring the stars of Disney Plus’s Red Swan, Kim Ha Neul and Rain (Jung Ji Hoon).
In the video, Kim Ha Neul and Rain respond to questions from the editor-in-chief, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of Red Swan. When asked why he joined the project, Rain said, “It has a lot of elements that people will love. It’s a familiar yet fun story.” He humbly added, “With veterans like Yoon Je Moon and Seo Yi Sook already cast, I felt like I was just adding a spoon to the table.”
Kim Ha Neul mentioned her career turning point was becoming a face for “Storm.” Rain shared his admiration, saying, “In high school, I used to look at her Storm photos and wonder if she was Japanese or Korean. There was no one as beautiful. Getting to act with her is both enjoyable and an honor.”
The duo also revealed their perfect “food compatibility.” Rain shared, “We shared great restaurant recommendations with each other. I even saved some special spots for her that I didn’t even share with my parents. She said on ‘Zzanbro’ (YouTube show by Shin Dong Yeob) that she likes expensive drinks like cognac, so I bought some to share with her after the drama wrap-up.”
Kim Ha Neul added, “When we filmed ‘Zzanbro,’ I was quite drunk by the end. I kept repeating the same things.” Rain humorously recalled, “After the shoot, I went home and had a good talk with the toilet.”
If they were writing their autobiographies, how far along would they be? Kim Ha Neul answered, “More than halfway through, I think. I’ve met someone I need to be responsible for and now I’m acting again, so it’s at the halfway mark.” Rain expressed his passion, saying, “Everything so far feels like just the preface. There’s so much more I want to write.”
