Suzy is considering an offer to star in Han Jae Rim’s new project, Delusion (literal title). Suzy’s agency, Management SOOP, confirmed on the 30th, saying, “Suzy has received an offer to appear in Han Jae Rim’s new film ‘Delusion’ and is currently reviewing it.”

Showbox, which holds the IP rights for Delusion, added, “We initially offered Suzy the role during the early planning stages, but she had to say no due to scheduling conflicts. Now that the production schedule has been adjusted, she is reviewing the offer positively.”

Delusion is the latest project from director Han Jae Rim, known for the Netflix series The 8 Show and the film Emergency Declaration. The story, based on a popular webtoon of the same name, is set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 1800s Shanghai. It follows the mysterious events surrounding artist Yoon Yi Ho, who is commissioned to paint a portrait of the captivating vampire woman Song Jeong Hwa. As time passes, Yoon becomes increasingly intrigued and ensnared by the secrets of this enigmatic woman.

Suzy has been offered the role of the vampire woman Song Jeong Hwa. If she accepts, this would mark her first collaboration with director Han Jae Rim.

Previously, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were considered for the project, but discussions were halted following a scandal involving their then-relationship.
