MBC’s upcoming drama “Black Out” has unveiled a new poster!
Adapted from the best-selling German mystery novel “Snow White Must Die,” “Black Out” is a crime thriller drama that follows the story of a young man accused of murder in a mysterious case where no corpses were found. 11 years later, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth of that fateful day. The drama stars Byun Yo Han, Go Joon, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Bo Ra, and more.
Byun Yo Han stars as Go Jung Woo, a man whose life collapses from a model citizen to a convicted murderer. The drama’s main poster vividly captures Byun Yo Han’s portrayal of Go Jung Woo’s dramatic fall, highlighting his devastated expression.
The poster shows Byun Yo Han fully immersed in Go Jung Woo’s worn-out persona after 10 years of imprisonment. His messy hair and scruffy beard reflect years of neglect, while his bloodshot eyes, filled with tears, reveal the deep emotional scars from his troubled past.
The poster also features bold brushstrokes to represent blackout memories. Detective Noh Sang Chul (Go Joon) is shown with a piercing gaze, adding depth to the blacked-out scenes filled with various figures and situations, increasing the overall intrigue.
The tagline, “It might have been better not to know the truth of that night,” heightens the suspense. It emphasizes the mystery surrounding the case. As viewers look forward to the premiere, they are left to ponder the significance of the figures in Go Jung Woo’s memories and the truth he will discover after his long and solitary search.
“Black Out” is set to premiere on August 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
