Season 2 of “Pachinko” has released a sneak peek of Lee Min Ho’s character!
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Min Jin Lee, “Pachinko” is a multi-generational saga of war and peace, love and separation, and victory and judgment that spans Korea, Japan, and the United States. This season, actor Kim Sung Kyu will be joining Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho, and Kim Min Ha in the show’s star-studded cast.
Lee Min Ho stars as Hansu, a character who significantly disrupts Sunja’s (Kim Min Ha’s) life. Lee Min Ho transitions seamlessly from a sincere young man trying to make a living in Japan to a cold and calculating businessman, captivating audiences worldwide.
In Season 1, Lee Min Ho skillfully explored Hansu’s complex inner world and his nuanced relationship with Sunja. Season 2 promises an even deeper dive into Hansu’s emotional growth as Hansu tries to reunite with Sunja in Osaka in 1945. As Hansu remains entangled with Sunja and his son Noa (Park Jae Joon) over time, viewers are eager to see how his character evolves.
Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, which will be released one at a time each week starting from August 23 until October 11.
