MBC’s upcoming drama “Black Out” has unveiled new stills of Kim Bo Ra!
Adapted from the best-selling German mystery novel “Snow White Must Die,” “Black Out” is a crime thriller drama that follows the story of a young man accused of murder in a mysterious case where no corpses were found. 11 years later, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth of that fateful day. The drama stars Byun Yo Han, Go Joon, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Bo Ra, and more.
Kim Bo Ra plays Ha Seol, a newcomer to Mucheon. Taking a break from medical school, Ha Seol travels the country on a scooter and is drawn to the peaceful village atmosphere of Mucheon. With her dexterity and friendly nature, she works part-time at Mucheon Garden, a restaurant where Go Jung Woo’s (Byun Yo Han’s) mother is employed, and quickly bonds with the locals.
When Go Jung Woo, who was imprisoned for murder, returns to the village, Ha Seol notices a shift in the village’s atmosphere and becomes curious about the past that everyone seems to be avoiding. The focus shifts to whether Ha Seol, who probes into the events of 11 years ago—including a missing body and the motive for the crime—can uncover the secrets hidden in Mucheon despite the villagers’ attempts to keep the past buried.
The released photo shows Ha Seol, a curious college student, exploring Mucheon. While working hard at her part-time job at Mucheon Garden, she also enjoys her much-anticipated break under the blue sky.
As night falls, Ha Seol begins her solo investigation into the truth that the villagers are trying to hide. As an outsider with no personal ties to the village, she approaches the case with objectivity and impartiality, unraveling the complex mystery.
“Black Out” is set to premiere on August 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
