August is set to become one of the most exciting and busiest months for new K-dramas in 2024 and subscribers can expect a lot of things, with plenty of romance, comedy and of action. The Frog Season 1 (August to be confirmed)
This K-drama is confirmed to be hitting Netflix in August, and we expect the streaming service to make an official announcement soon.
This k-drama features two men, Sang Joon, who runs a motel in a rural area during the summer of 2000, and Young Ha, who runs a solo guesthouse in the forest during the summer of 2021.

Mission Cross (August 7, 2024)
It appears to be a last-minute announcement planning the Netflix debut of actress Yeom Jung Ah and the return of Hwang Jung Min, who was last seen on Netflix in K -police drama Narcos, released in 2022 entitled “Saints”.
After serving as a special forces officer, Kang Moo attempts to leave his dangerous life behind to become a good husband to his wife Mi Sun, a detective specializing in violent crimes. However, a misunderstanding leads Mi Sun to believe that Kang Moo is having an affair with the mysterious Hee Joo. Determined to uncover the truth about her husband’s past, Mi Sun pursues him, and Kang Moo’s dream of becoming a peaceful housewife quickly crumbles, causing their marriage to be tested.

Lovely Runner Season 1 (August 1)
K-drama fans were convinced that Netflix had missed out on one of the best romantic comedies of the year, which was not the case, as the streaming service acquired the license for the drama, which will allow subscribers to benefit from it from the start of the month.
Although the life of Ryu Seon Jae, one of South Korea’s most captivating celebrities, seems perfect, the demands of the entertainment industry have left him exhausted. When a tragic accident leaves one of her biggest fans, Im Sol, reeling from her disappearance, she is miraculously transported fifteen years into the past, where she comes face to face with 19-year-old Ryu Seon Jae, while hoping to avoid the tragedy that is coming.

Romance in the House Season 1 (August 10)
It’s not long before JTBC’s summer schedule comes into full swing, and Netflix subscribers will be able to see Ji Jin Hee in action every week, as her character, Byun Moo Jin, attempts to win back her family.
Ambitious businessman Byun Moo Jin let his failed business ventures hurt his family, prompting him to cut ties with them and file for divorce from his wife, Geum Ae Yeon . Years later, their children, Mi Rae and Hyun Jae, grew up, and they were both deeply affected by their single mother’s struggle to raise them.
That’s when Mi Rae is determined to be someone her mother can count on, while Hyun Jae grew up playing the role of troublemaker in the family. Their lives are thrown into chaos once again when Moo Jin returns and reveals that he now owns the building where they live and wants to reunite with his ex-wife, something Mi Rae strongly objects to. . For his part, Hyun Jae couldn’t be happier about their father’s attempt to reunite the family.

Love Next Door Season 1 (August 17)
While Bae Seok Ryu has enjoyed an unparalleled life by consistently acing her exams and everything she does, life gives her a surprise when she enters the workplace of an international company, which brings her to taste failure for the first time and resign from his position as project manager. Soon, she finds Choi Seung Hyo, South Korea’s most prominent young architect and the person with whom she shared banana milk as a child, in the women’s public baths.
