The cast of the popular drama True Beauty recently gathered for a heartfelt reunion.
On July 14th, Cha Eun Woo posted several photos on his Instagram with the caption, “‘Flowers, Stars Passing By.” The photos showed the True Beauty cast attending the play Flowers, Stars Passing By (literal title), featuring their co-star Lim Se Mi.
The reunion included Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, Kang Min Ah, and Lee Sang Jin, all of whom starred together in the tvN drama True Beauty. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the drama tells the story of Joo Kyung, who overcomes her appearance insecurities through makeup, and Su Ho, who hides his own scars. The two share their secrets and grow together in this romantic comedy about self-esteem and healing.
Aired from December 2020 to February 2021, True Beauty reached a peak rating of 4.6% nationwide (Nielsen Korea). The photos from their recent outing highlight the enduring friendship among the cast members.
Fans were delighted to see the cast’s continued camaraderie, leaving comments such as, “It’s great to see they are still close,” “I love that the ‘True Beauty’ cast is still in touch!” and “They really must’ve had a lot of fun filming.”
