Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders are set to become parents of two.
News1 reported today that Song Joong Ki’s wife Katy is currently pregnant with their second child and focusing on her prenatal care in preparation for the birth. They have shared this news with their family and close friends.
Song Joong Ki and Katy, who welcomed their first son a year ago in June, are now building a happy family with two children. They welcomed their first child in Italy last year. With their stay in Korea, attention is drawn to where they will give birth to their second child.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki and Katy met through an acquaintance in 2021 and became a couple. Song Joong Ki announced his relationship in December 2022 and then revealed his marriage registration and pregnancy with Katy Louise Saunders the following year.
At the time, Song Joong Ki said, “I have promised to spend the rest of my life with Katie Louise Saunders, who has cheered me on, cherished me and spent precious time with me. Song Joong Ki left for his hometown, Rome, with his pregnant wife Katie for prenatal care. He also worked on the overseas filming of movie My Name Is Loh Kiwan and enjoyed the joy of walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the first time since his debut through Vincenzo.
Song Joong Ki, who released a photo of his first son, appeared on JTBC’s Newsroom last October around his son’s 100th day and said, “I think my wife and I are doing a great job raising him together. We are doing it with a lot of love and affection, and it is a very proud thing to do.”
Song Joong Ki, who has been married for a year and is now pregnant with his second child, is also continuing his active work as an actor. The movie Bogota is about to be released, and he is scheduled to meet viewers through a special appearance in Netflix drama Romantics Anonymous.
