UTO Entertainment is bringing another exciting festival to Japan, this time in Yokohama. Following the successful UTO FEST 2024 in Fukuoka last April, the second installment will take place at the K-Arena Yokohama on July 31st.
UTO FEST 2024 is a large-scale event to showcase K-pop’s various charms in Japan, one year ahead of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan. It aims to create a platform for global exchange through K-pop, transcending national borders.
The lineup for the first part of the event, starting at 12:30 PM, includes Super Junior-L.S.S, Super Junior-D&E, SHINee’s Minho, and Fantasy Boys. The lineup for the second part, beginning at 7:00 PM, features NCT 127, Apink, UNIS, Bang Yedam, and various other artists. Notably, the two Super Junior units will stage special collaborations and various K-pop communication sessions.
A UTO Entertainment representative stated, “We are delighted to provide a venue for communicating with global fans through K-pop and Korean culture. This Yokohama concert will feature even more diverse programs, offering fans an unforgettable experience.”
Tickets went on sale through Ticketpia starting from June 19th. Detailed information can be found on UTO Entertainment’s official social media accounts and website.
Previously, ‘UTO FEST 2024’ held at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A featured performances by BoA, EXO’s Chanyeol, AB6IX, Yena and UNIS. Japanese idols included the 13-member group XY, produced by X-JAPAN’s Yoshiki through an audition program, and NOA, known for being YG Entertainment’s first Japanese trainee.
