Kim Do Hoon may be teaming up with Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Young Dae in a new drama!
On June 25, it was reported that Kim Do Hoon will appear in the upcoming drama “Dear X” (working title). The next day, his agency SEM Company shared, “‘Dear X’ is one of the dramas he has received an offer for and is currently reviewing.”
Previously, it was revealed that Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Young Dae are also in talks to star in the drama.
Based on a webtoon, “Dear X” follows the story of Baek Ah Jin, a renowned actress who achieves success by using others, only to experience a subsequent downfall. In addition to depicting the two faces of Baek Ah Jin, the romance drama portrays her love story with the man who stays by her side.
Kim Yoo Jung has reportedly been offered the role of Baek Ah Jin.
According to the reports, producing director (PD) Lee Eung Bok of “Dream High,” “School 2013,” “Descendants of the Sun,” and “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” will be directing the drama.
Last year, Kim Do Hoon gained recognition for his role as Lee Kang Hoon in the hit drama “Moving.” He has since appeared in SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” and its sequel “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection.”
Kim Do Hoon is also gearing up for his upcoming drama “Acquaintances” (working title), where he will star alongside Han Ji Min and Lee Joon Hyuk, as well as ENA’s new thriller drama “Your Honor.”
