BLACKPINK’s Jennie has just achieved an exciting first in the United States!
On June 20 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) officially awarded The Weeknd, Jennie, and Lily-Rose Depp’s song “One of the Girls” (from their HBO series “The Idol”) a platinum certification for over 1 million units sold.
With this achievement, Jennie has become the first female Korean soloist in RIAA history to earn a platinum certification for a single.
