Although the tvN drama Lovely Runner has ended, it continues to excite audiences as fans visit its filming locations to relive its most memorable moments.
In this drama, the “Han River Bridge” where Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) and Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) reunited after 15 years is actually filmed on the Chuncheon Bridge. This is a very significant location for the characters, as it is where Sun Jae meets Sol, traveling in a wheelchair and sheltering him with a green umbrella. This is also where they promised to meet again on January 1, 2023, making it a crucial point in the story.
The Chuncheon Bridge connects the Legoland theme park, located on Jungdo Island above Lake Uiamho, to downtown Chuncheon. The bridge is not only iconic for its circular tower and connecting cables, but also for its vibrant night lights and fountain show that depicts various scenes of Chuncheon.
The Haenggung-dong district of Suwon, where Sun Jae and Sol spent their childhood, is also increasingly popular. Finally, the filming of the Yeonseo University campus scenes took place on the Daedeok campus of Chungnam National University. The iconic Baekma (white horse) statue and other scenic spots on campus are where Sol goes back in time to save Sun Jae.
