JTBC’s upcoming variety program “My Name is Gabriel” has confirmed its premiere date with a new teaser!
Produced by PD Kim Tae Ho known for the hit MBC program “Infinite Challenge,” “My Name is Gabriel” is a new variety show which involves the cast experiencing the lives of others abroad for 72 hours.
The teaser opens with Ji Chang Wook strolling through the vibrant streets of Guadalajara, Mexico. As he navigates the bustling city, the scene seamlessly transitions to Park Bo Gum wandering the picturesque streets of Dublin, Ireland. The journey continues to Yeom Hye Ran in the heart of Chongqing, China, then to Gabee exploring the lively atmosphere of Mexico City, and finally to Park Myung Soo in the serene surroundings of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The teaser offers a tantalizing glimpse into the unique experiences awaiting the participants as “Gabriels. J’i Chang Wook remarks, “It’s really different from Korea,” immediately sparking curiosity. Adding to the intrigue, Yeom Hye Ran warns, “Everything you planned will go wrong,” hinting at the unpredictable twists their new lives will take.
At the end of the video, Park Myung Soo is seen in the middle of an unfamiliar street in Chiang Mai, Thailand, exclaiming in genuine confusion, “What am I supposed to do?” His bewildered expression adds to the intrigue. The unpredictable stories of the “Gabriels” from around the world heighten anticipation for the premiere, leaving viewers eager to see how these narratives will unfold.
Using data from the stars’ preliminary interviews, the program employed data analysis through a special artificial intelligence program named Gabriel to simulate the lives of real people selected from the world’s 8 billion people. This setup promises viewers an exciting exploration of diverse cultures and unexpected challenges when the show premieres.
“My Name is Gabriel” will premiere on June 21 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
