aespa’s upcoming album is already on track to become their fourth consecutive million-seller!
Having sold over 1 million copies each of their previous mini albums “Girls,” “MY WORLD,” and “Drama,” it looks as though aespa is set to repeat the feat with “Armageddon.”
On May 27, SM Entertainment announced that the group’s first full-length album “Armageddon” had recorded over 1.02 million stock pre-orders.
The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.
“Armageddon,” which is due out on May 27 at 6 p.m. KST, will feature a total of 10 songs, including the double title tracks “Supernova” and “Armageddon.” This past weekend, “Supernova” became the fastest girl group song of 2024 to achieve a perfect all-kill on the Korean charts.
One hour ahead of the album’s release, aespa will be holding a special “‘Armageddon’ Countdown Live” broadcast at 5 p.m. KST on YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse.
