It looks as though there may be turbulence ahead for Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon”!
Helmed by director Ahn Pan Seok of the hit drama “Something in the Rain,” tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” is a new romance set against the backdrop of Daechi, a neighborhood known as the epicenter of private education in Korea due to its high concentration of hagwons (private educational institutions).
Spoilers
On the previous episode of the drama, Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon) suggested that he and Seo Hye Jin team up in three different areas: advertisements, lectures, and curriculum.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming fourth episode, the two teachers set out to put Lee Joon Ho’s plan in action. Initially, they start out in good spirits, smiling brightly at one another and bumping fists as they cheer each other on.
However, the atmosphere changes when the two of them wind up facing unexpected struggles. In contrast to her usual poise, Seo Hye Jin appears visibly nervous in the classroom, and Lee Joon Ho’s typically smiling face is frozen and stiff. Later, Seo Hye Jin even suffers from a nosebleed.
The drama’s production team teased, “Episode 4, which airs today at 9:20 p.m., will depict Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho’s dynamic preparation period for their collaboration lecture. Together with a plot twist that no one could have predicted, the two of them will experience the lecture of a lifetime, which will be fun to watch.”
They went to add, “Please also look forward to the turning point that arrives in Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho’s relationship.”
To find out what lies in store for Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho, tune in to the next episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” on May 19 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
