Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo, stars of the Disney Plus original series Blood Free, have unveiled a compelling photoshoot with Vogue Korea, showcasing their dynamic on-screen chemistry.
In the series, Han portrays Yoon Ja Yu, the CEO of BF Group, while Ju takes on the role of Woo Chae Woon, her bodyguard. Their characters navigate a thrilling tightrope of trust and suspicion, engaging audiences worldwide with their nuanced performances. The recently released photos feature the two in a dreamy and mystical setting, highlighting a different side of their chemistry compared to their intense on-screen relationship.
“Emotions build up, forming a bond of comradeship, and at times it feels like a friendship; other times it seems almost romantic,” Ju Ji Hoon explained, hinting at the complex layers of their relationship.
Han Hyo Joo added, “There are scenes where our characters subtly share their feelings, which will gradually draw in the viewers.” This narrative complexity was recently underscored in the shocking ending of episode four, where Woo Chae Woon confronts enemies to protect Yoon Ja Yu, risking his life in a dramatic showdown.
Meanwhile, Blood Free drops a new episode every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
