July 2024 will be full of action and thrills with K-dramas, starting with Disney+’s Red Swan, which tells the story of a woman who changes her life by getting married, only to discover dark secrets hidden in the history of her rich husband’s family. The third and final season of Netflix’s hit post-apocalyptic thriller, Sweet Home, will also return to conclude the devastating battle between monsters and humanity.
For his part, Shin Ha-kyun, from Beyond Evil, will make his return to the small screen in The Auditors, playing the leader of an audit team which tries to eradicate corruption within a construction company . Aside from that, No Way Out: The Roulette deals with the aftermath of a heinous killer being released from prison.
If you need a little respite, you can wait for Serendipity’s Embrace, a romantic drama adapted from the popular webcomic Is It Fate? Starring Son Hyun-joo (The Good Detective) and Kim Myung-min (Law School), the South Korean remake of the American series Your Honor is also expected to arrive this month. As for Good Partner, it follows the story of a pair of lawyers played by Jang Na-ra and Nam Ji-hyun.

red swan
Red Swan, the upcoming Disney+ original film, tells the story of Oh Wan-soo (Kim Ha-neul), a woman from a poor family whose life is turned upside down when she becomes a professional golfer. At the height of her fame, she attracts the attention of Kim Yong-guk, the heir to the wealthy Hwan group, with whom she marries to repay her family’s debts.
While Wan-soo made a name for himself as the CEO of a foundation, the couple remained unhappy throughout the years. That’s when policeman-turned-bodyguard Seo Do-yoon (Rain) joins the Hwan Group security team and saves Wan-soo’s life during an event that goes wrong. As she and Do-yoon grow closer, Wan-soo begins to question the real reasons he became closer to the Hwan Group.

The Auditors
The Auditors stars Shin Ha-kyun as Shin Cha-il, the head of the audit team at a construction company where corruption reigns supreme. So new employee Gu Han-soo (Lee Jung-ha) joins the team in hopes of getting an overseas transfer, while struggling to work under Cha-il .
Yoon Seo-jin (Jo A-ram), an ambitious and individualistic young woman who will stop at nothing to succeed, also joins the team. While she has a childhood bond with Hwang Dae-woong, the company’s vice president who hopes to take it over himself, the two pretend not to know each other at work.

Good Partner
Being a legal drama, Good Partner deals with the partnership between veteran lawyer Cha Eun-kyeong (Jang Na-ra) and new recruit Han Yoo-ri (Nam Ji-hyun). A pragmatic divorce lawyer who prioritizes the interests of the firm as well as her clients, Eun-kyeong worries about her own impending divorce while working on her cases.
For her part, the idealistic Yoo-ri does not tolerate injustice, so the two lawyers often clash with each other. Their opposing values, however, do not prevent them from forming a formidable duo and, later, from becoming confidantes when they are faced with personal crises.

Sweet Home 3
The third and final episode of the post-apocalyptic Kdrama Sweet Home will reunite Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Go Min-si and many other actors, who will reprise their roles from the first two seasons. Netflix announces that the third season of Sweet Home will highlight the blurring of the line between humans and monsters, until the final battle between the two camps.

Serendipity’s Embrace
This romantic K-drama, based on the webtoon Is It Fate?, revolves around first loves who meet again for the first time in ten years. The path of Lee Hong-joo (Kim So-hyun), a host and producer who fears love after a painful experience unexpectedly crosses that of her first love, Kang Hoo-yeong (Chae Jong-hyeop), a financial planner.
Also featured in the series is Yoon Ji-on as the narcissistic writer Bang Jun-ho who develops a special relationship with Hong-joo, as well as ex-SISTAR member Kim Da-som playing the role of the professor high school English teacher Kim Hye-ji, Hong-joo’s best friend.

Your honor
A remake of the American television series of the same name, Your Honor stars Son Hyun-joo in the role of Judge Song Pan-ho, a straight man with an impeccable past who brings justice and comfort to the residents of Woowon City. He is confronted by Kim Gang-heon (Kim Myung-min), the cruel leader of a cartel operating in the same city who despite his coldness, remains a loving and devoted father.
The series sees them clash to protect those around them.

No Way Out: The Roulette
This crime thriller features murderer Kim Kook-ho (Yoo Jae-myung), released from prison after a 13-year sentence, thus arousing public anger. With a generous bounty placed on his head, Detective Baek Joong-shik (Cho Jin-woong) must work with lawyer Lee Sang-bong (Kim Moo-yul) to protect the killer from the wrath of the mobs.
