    59th Baeksang Arts Awards Winners: Park Eun Bin, Song Hye Kyo, Lee Sung Min, Bag Trophies

    Known as the Oscars of South Korea, the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 once again showcased the best of the best in television, film, and theater.

    The star-studded event, which was broadcast live via JTBC and TikTok, was hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Park Bo Gum, and Bae Suzy. The lovely trio once again showed off their chemistry, entertaining the audience and viewers watching the broadcast.

    The 59th Baeksang Arts Awards were attended by Hallyu’s most sought-after stars, including Song Hye Kyo, Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Woo Sung, Jung Kyung Ho, and more.

    The Best Film went to “The Night Owl,” while Netflix’s “The Glory” bagged Best Drama TV.

    “Reborn Rich” star Lee Sung Min took home the Best Actor Award for TV, while Song Hye Kyo won Best Actress for her performance in “The Glory.”

    As for the film category, Ryu Jun Yeol took home the Best Actor Award for his performance in “The Night Owl,” while Tang Wei of “Decision to Leave” won Best Actress.

    On the other hand, “The Glory” managed to score multiple major awards, including Best Drama, Best Supporting Actress, and more. The same goes for movies like “The Night Owl” and “Decision to Leave.”

    Park Jinyoung and IU were hailed as this year’s TikTok Popularity Award winners for female and male celebrities.
