Spoilers

Previously, Jang Jae Kyung and Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do) discovered that Jung Sang Ui (Park Keun Rok) was the doctor. However, they postponed his arrest to use him to catch Park Tae Jin (Kwon Yool), who was running the Lemon Mulberry drug business. The shocking discovery of Jung Yoon Ho’s (Lee Kang Wook) body, who was killed by Oh Chi Hyun (Cha Yeop) left Jang Jae Kyung in shock.

Can Park Tae Jin’s drug connection be revealed?

Throughout the drama, Park Tae Jin’s true identity as a prosecutor was hidden to illegally run his Lemon Mulberry drug business using Park Jun Seo (Yoon Na Moo), who was desperate for his daughter’s hospital bills. After Park Jun Seo’s death, he continued the business using Jung Sang Ui who manufactured the drug. With Park Tae Jin gaining more power by being appointed to the Ministry of Justice’s Prosecution Department, Jung Sang Ui’s revelation to Gong Jin Wook  (Yoo Hee Je), a Lemon Mulberry drug dealer, that he is both the doctor and Park Tae Jin, draws attention to what kind of impact it will have on the remaining episodes.

What is the truth about the Cha Kyung Tae case from 20 years ago?

Young Jang Jae Kyung (Jo Han Gyeol) transferred schools after persistently fighting to uncover the truth of the Cha Kyung Tae (Bae Kae Young) case, which was handled as an arson incident, and this caused a rift with young Park Jun Seo (Lee Hyun So). Jang Jae Kyung is set to meet with No Kyu Min (Ahn Do Kyu), who secretly witnessed their argument over Cha Kyung Tae’s case behind the school and whom Jung Sang Ui advised to meet, to uncover the truth of that day. Interest is growing in what role No Kyu Min, who helped Jung Sang Ui move Lee Myung Guk’s (Oh Il Young) frozen body, will play.

Who killed Park Jun Seo?

The third checkpoint is the identity of Park Jun Seo’s killer. Before his death, Park Jun Seo gathered Park Tae Jin, Won Jong Soo (Kim Kyung Nam), and Oh Chi Hyun at the construction site. As soon as his friends arrived, Park Jun Seo, determined to set things right, appeared on the ninth floor and then mysteriously fell to the first floor while riding the elevator. Suspicion surrounds around Park Tae Jin, who had an affair with Park Jun Seo’s wife Choi Ji Yeon (Jung Yoo Min), Won Jong Soo, who used Park Jun Seo as a drug courier, and Oh Chi Hyun, Won Jong Soo’s henchman. Curiosity is heightened about which one of them is the real culprit behind Park Jun Seo’s death.

Can Jang Jae Kyung keep his drug addiction a secret?

After being promoted to inspector, Jang Jae Kyung was forcibly addicted to drugs, but now he is struggling to hide his addiction to avoid being excluded from the case. However, when he first experienced withdrawal symptoms, he was in so much pain that he ended up taking a Lemon Mulberry drug pill from the evidence at the police station. Although Kim Chang Soo (Jung Jae Kwang) covered for him, detective Park Jung Pyo (Yoo Kyung Hwan), who frequently clashed with Jang Jae Kyung, secretly collected his hair after hearing from a suspect that Jang Jae Kyung had taken a Lemon Mulberry drug injection. There is growing curiosity about whether Jang Jae Kyung will be exposed as a drug addict or whether he will reveal his own addiction himself after finding Park Jun Seo’s killer.
