The BL “Boys Be Brave!” ” showed a new funny and cute side to the story and characters, whether it was Jung Ki Sub (Nam Si An) making plush clones of himself for Kim Jin Woo (Kim Sung Hyen) or Jin Woo reading a guide to romantic relationships at the library, there was no shortage of adorable moments. If you weren’t convinced after watching the premiere, these super cute episodes will knock your socks off.
Below are four of the cutest moments from episodes 3 and 4!
-
The beautiful promise of Ki Sub
In the first, we witness Ki Sub moving into Jin Woo’s house without asking his opinion. To make the situation worse, Ki Sub told Jin Woo that he knew about Jin Woo’s “secret” feelings towards him. This is how the two young people found themselves in conflict but before Jin Woo kicked Ki Sub out, the latter drew up a contract to live together which stipulates that if he becomes Jin Woo’s ideal type, the latter must ask Ki Sub to go out with him. Otherwise, Ki Sub will move.
It was this week that Ki Sub revealed a little more about the contract clauses. Indeed, he explains to Jin Woo that even after the agreement ends, he promises to stay by his side forever. This is a statement that would make anyone’s heart race, even if it comes from the unwelcome person who has come to move in without invitation.

The secret kiss
Jin Woo keeps running away from Ki Sub, figuratively, of course, but also literally. Jin Woo is able to run and this time he is at home when Ki Sub comes in and calls his name, which immediately made him panic to the point that he ended up hiding under his bed to avoid.
Earlier in the day, Jin Woo sees Choi Balgeum (Jung Yeo Jun) holding Ki Sub’s hand and takes him on a motorbike ride. While Jin Woo hides, Ki Sub explains that he is just friends with Balgeum. Knowing that Jin Woo saw him earlier, he wants to prevent him from thinking too much about what he saw. He’s already so kind to take Jin Woo’s feelings into account! Finding Jin Woo under his bed, he lies down beside him. At the same time, Jin Woo’s smart lights go off and tell him it’s time to go to bed (they’re definitely paid actors).
That’s when the two stare at each other for a moment before sharing their first kiss. It’s rare to see a kiss so fast and so good! in a K-drama, but this one was perfect.

Ki Sub’s injury (and Jin Woo’s concerns)
Although Ki Sub may come across as a slacker, this week proved that he’s willing to put in the effort when it comes to Jin Woo.
Ever since Ki Sub took a look at Jin Woo’s diary, where the latter wrote down his ideal type, Ki Sub has made it his goal to become one. To say the least, it has some interesting side effects as Ki Sub straightens his hair, wears a unique piece and plans to get a mole tattooed under his eye, all of this in line with Jin Woo’s ideal type.
Ki Sub also makes the decision to read more to meet Jin Woo’s expectations. Most of the time, Jin Woo appears annoyed by Ki Sub’s shenanigans, which does not prevent him from worrying when he realizes that Ki Sub has cut himself from reading so much, and help take care of himself and redo his dressing. The good thing is that at least Ki Sub seems to be really sincere!

Balgeum’s bittersweet dream
Finally, while the second main couple remains a bit of a mystery, a little glimpse into their past was given this week. While working at one of his many jobs, Balgeum gets so distracted that even his boss tells him he should go home and rest. His distraction certainly comes from the sudden return of Ji In Ho (Ahn Se Min) from the United States.
So he goes out to get some fresh air and starts thinking about the time when he was In Ho’s classmate. It’s clear that he and In Ho were more than friends, at least initially. time, whether officially or not.
Balgeum’s sunny and warm dream with a smiling In Ho is the complete opposite of In Ho’s sad and gloomy personality now. The next episodes may tell us more about what happened and what changed their relationship.
