MBC’s “Doubt” is racing toward its finish!
“Doubt” is a psychological thriller starring Han Suk Kyu as Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo), who unexpectedly discovers that his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is hiding a secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.
With the drama’s series finale airing tonight, here are three remaining questions to be answered in the final episode:
Who is the true culprit in Lee Soo Hyun’s murder?
Although many shocking truths came to light in the latest episode of the drama, the identity of Lee Soo Hyun’s murderer—and what really happened that fateful night—have yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, the new revelation that both Ha Bin and her mother Ji Soo (Oh Yeon Soo) were at the scene of the crime on the night Lee Soo Hyun was killed raised new questions about their involvement.
Will Tae Soo and Ha Bin be able to live ordinary lives?
Tae Soo initially suspected his unusual daughter Ha Bin of murder, and he later deeply regretted his own suspicions. Not only did his doubt completely ruin their relationship, but he also believed that it played a part in his ex-wife’s death.
However, despite Tae Soo’s belated decision to trust and protect his daughter no matter what, Ha Bin remained determined to seek revenge for her mother’s death. Will Tae Soo and Ha Bin be able to avoid tragedy and live an ordinary life together as father and daughter?
What lies in store for the profiler trio?
All three members of the profiler team crossed the line during their investigations. Tae Soo hid the fact that his daughter was connected to the case and broke the rules while investigating, raising the question of what sort of repercussions he will face as a result.
Meanwhile, Lee Eo Jin (Han Ye Ri) lost her objectivity due to her disappointment in Tae Soo, whom she had formerly idolized. Instead of remaining unbiased in her approach to the case, she became fixated on suspecting his daughter and proceeded with her investigations solely with Ha Bin at the center.
Similarly, Koo Dae Hong (Noh Jae Won) failed to remain detached and impartial while dealing with Do Yoon (Jo Sung Ha) and his mother Sung Hee (Choi Yu Hwa). Due to his sympathy for Do Yoon, he became overly emotionally involved and went too far in helping them. How will Eo Jin and Dae Hong react once they learn the truth about the case?
Director Song Yeon Hwa teased, “The finale will be an episode that changes the story’s remaining question marks into exclamation points.”
The final episode of “Doubt” will air on November 15 at 9:40 p.m. KST, 10 minutes earlier than its usual air time.
