tvN has a jam-packed 2025 awaiting!
On December 3, tvN shared its lineup of upcoming dramas and shows, giving fans a sneak peek of what they can look forward to and anticipate in the upcoming year.

“When the Stars Gossip”
“When the Stars Gossip” will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), an unwelcome guest with a secret mission. The drama additionally stars Oh Jung Se, Han Ji Eun, Kim Joo Hun, Lee El, Lee Cho Hee, and Heo Nam Jun.
“Seochodong”
Written by currently practicing lawyer Lee Seung Hyun, “Seochodong” (literal title) tells a passionate story about associate lawyers who go to work in the Seocho Judicial Town. Ahn Joo Hyun (Lee Jong Suk), Kang Hee Ji (Mun Ka Young), Jo Chang Won (Kang You Seok), Bae Moon Jung (Ryu Hye Young), and Ha Sang Ki (Im Seong Jae) make up the five members of the “Associate Lawyers Avengers” who share their precious lunch breaks together.
“Typhoon Company”
“Typhoon Company” (literal title) centers around the story of Typhoon Company’s CEO Kang Tae Poong and his journey through the trials of the IMF crisis, highlighting his growth and the challenges of becoming a “true adult.” Geum Sae Rok will play the role of Oh Mi Sook, who becomes a sales representative after accepting a proposal from Kang Tae Poong to save the company struggling post-IMF crisis.
“Divorce Insurance”
Starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee, “Divorce Insurance” (literal title) is an office rom-com that will tell the story of a man who works at an innovative product development team of an insurance company, devising insurance plans related to divorce.
“The Queen Who Crowns”
“The Queen Who Crowns” will tell the story of the fiery life of Queen Won Kyung (Cha Joo Young), a kingmaker who dreamed of a new world in the early days of the Joseon dynasty and made her husband, Lee Bang Won (Lee Hyun Wook), a king with whom she shared the power of the throne.
“Unknown Seoul”
“Unknown Seoul” (literal title) is a romantic drama about twin sisters who lead completely different lives. After swapping identities through a web of lies, they embark on a journey to discover true love and the meaning of life. Park Bo Young will take on the dual roles of twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, while Jinyoung will play Lee Ho Soo, a tall and handsome lawyer at a major law firm with a seemingly indifferent yet relaxed demeanor.
“Potato Research Institute”
“Potato Research Institute” (literal title) is a new rom-com drama set against the backdrop of a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin will take on the role of Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher who is crazy about potatoes and lives a simple and peaceful life in a rural area until So Baek Ho appears in the area and stirs her life up. Kang Tae Oh will play the role of So Baek Ho, who is charming but a merciless capitalist when it comes to making profits.
“Director Killer”
Based on a popular webtoon, “Director Killer” (literal title, previously known as “Black Salt Dragon”) will tell the love story of Baek Soo Jung (Mun Ka Young) and Ban Joo Yeon (Choi Hyun Wook) who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later. The drama also stars Im Se Mi and Kwak Si Yang.
“Please Don’t Drink”
“Please Don’t Drink” (literal title) is a rom-com about a woman who considers herself to be a reasonable drinker. She reunites with a health center doctor, who is even harder to quit than alcohol, and takes on the challenge of quitting alcohol. The drama will star Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Gong Myung.
“Gyunwoo and Fairy”
“Gyunwoo and Fairy” (literal title) is a fantasy romance that tells the story of Park Sung Ah (Cho Yi Hyun), a high school shaman who sets out to save her first love Bae Gyun Woo (Choo Young Woo) after learning that he is in danger of dying, sparking romance between them.
