tvN, one of the largest broadcasting companies in South Korea that produces top-tier content, released the list of their achievements for the first half of 2021, and among its Korean dramas that made it is the dark comedy “Vincenzo.”
tvN Officially Announces List of Its Notable Achievements for First Half of 2021,
According to Sports Seoul on July 23, tvN unveiled the dramas and shows that received lots of love in the first half of 2021.
The comprehensive entertainment channel tvN gained overwhelming support from the viewers through the well made contents produced in the first half of the year, and were able to achieve good results in viewership and topicality.
tvN is recognized as a channel that gives pleasure in the hearts of the audience, they have shown meaningful growth in various indicators, such as viewership ratings and the number of SMR (Smart Media Rep) plays.
According to Nielsen Korea, in the first half of 2021, tvN’s target audience are the individuals that ages from 20-49 years old that were actively watching shows in primetime, it also varies from the time slots in weekdays and weekends.
This kind of observation and strategy helped tvN to reach new heights and continue beating their own records once a new drama has been released.

“Vincenzo” and “Yoo Quiz On The Block” are the Most Watched Shows of tvN
As 2021 began, these target viewers were proven to be the ones enjoying tvN’s programs, such as “Vincenzo,” “Mr. Queen,” “True Beauty,” “Mouse,” “L.U.C.A: The Beginning,” “Awaken,” “Mine,” and “Hospital Playlist 2.”
tvN also excels in producing compelling variety shows that also received a lot of love from the audience.
Crime-comedy drama “Vincenzo” and Yoo Jae Suk’s “Yoo Quiz On The Block” recorded 100 million views each in various streaming platforms and are consistent in the buzzworthy rankings.
With tvN’s classic and high-end contents produced in the first half of 2021, the company successfully ranked first among 61 channels in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the director of CJ ENM Media Solutions Division, Lee Sang Moo, commented, “With the increasing demand in the brand value of tvN, the number of brands that strategically execute only by CJ ENM channels surprisingly increased by 120% compared the same period last 2020.”
CJ ENM’s IP Operations Headquarters Manager Kim Je Hyeon also gave his remarks, “I am very happy that our efforts to increase value content have produced good results. Thank you to the viewers who keep on loving tvN contents. We will continue to improve the quality of content to give happiness without boundaries.”
