    Park Ha Sun To Make Silver Screen Return + Here’s What We Know

    Park Ha Sun is coming back to the big screen this 2023 with the brand new film “Where Would You Life To Go?” with Jung Min Joo and Moon Woo Jin.

    The upcoming work marks Park Ha Sun’s return after two years. Here’s what we know about the film so far.

    Park Ha Sun To Headline New Film ‘Where Would You Like To Go?’

    This 2023, Park Ha Sun challenges herself with the melodrama film “Where Would You Like To Go?” which is helmed by renowned filmmaker Kim Hee Jung.

    The film marks the actress’ first ever film in two years. She plays the role of Myung Ji, a widowed housewife who leaves for Warsaw, Poland to escape her painful reality.

    “Where Would You Like To Go?” is a work that discusses death and grief, and how the people left behind cope and heal on their own. The film aims to provide comfort to the viewers who experience similar situations and loss of a loved one.

    Park Ha Sun, who headlines the show, bared her soul and shared that she chose to appear in the work due to the similarities she has with her new acting role.

    In 2019, the actress bid goodbye to her younger brother who had a developmental disability. Park Ha Sun reveals that she has a lot of regrets about their relationship.

    “There were a lot of things I wasn’t able to do and I’m so sorry,” Park Ha Sun stated. “When I read the script of the work, I felt like I was being healed.”

    According to the actress, she resonated with the characters more than she had ever imagined. Park Ha Sun accepted the offer as a tribute to her beloved brother.

    She added, “The script that says “Thank you and I love you, sister” was the one that convinced me to do the film. Those were the same words that my brother told me and if I didn’t accept the work, I’ll surely regret it.”

    Park Ha Sun also shares that her brother’s demise also helped her in improving her emotional acting as she was able to incorporate her emotions that she hadn’t known before she experienced loss.

    Besides her love for her late brother, Park Ha Sun ultimately wanted to work alongside Kim Hee Jung, the director of “Where Would You Like To Go?” and other popular films.

    The actress revealed that she’s a fan of the filmmaker and had watched “A French Woman” more than a hundred times. When she received a contract, Park Ha Sun shared that “she was over the moon.”

    Kim Hee Jung is a multi-talented director who created high caliber films like “The Wonder Years,” “Grape Candy” and “Snow Paths.”

    On the other hand, Park Ha Sun also met veteran Kim Nam Hee and Jun Suk Ho for the first time through the work. Don’t miss the arrival of “Where Would You Like To Go?” on theaters nationwide this July 5.
