NU’EST‘s Kim Jonghyeon (JR) and Lovelyz‘s Yein will be starring together in a new drama!
On July 11, the two idol-turned-actors were confirmed to be appearing in the upcoming drama “My Friend’s Graduation” (literal translation) alongside Park Chul Min.
“My Friend’s Graduation” is a comedy about a 75-year-old man who becomes roommates with a 20-year-old student in a college dorm. The drama will depict their fun journey of bickering, friendship, and growth.
Park Chul Min will play Hong Seung Bae, who enrolls in college at the age of 75 to achieve his final dream and becomes a popular student at school. Kim Jonghyeon will play his unpopular roommate Kim Min Goo, who is exhausted from juggling part-time jobs and his studies at the same time.
Meanwhile, Yein will play the role of Lee Yeo Wool, Kim Min Goo’s first love and the most popular girl in school.
“My Friend’s Graduation” is currently scheduled to premiere sometime in the second half of 2023.
