The idol-actor was cast to star in the forthcoming film “You Will Die After Six Hours.” Here’s what we know so far.
NCT Jaehyun To Finally Make Silver Screen Debut
On July 3, NCTzens were surprised by the exciting news of handsome idol-actor NCT Jaehyun’s big screen debut.
Media outlets reported that the South Korean superstar was cast to headline the upcoming mystery thriller film “You Will Die After Six Hours” (literal translation).
It depicts the story of different individuals who fall into a pit of agony about their future lives due to an enigmatic man who predicted their deaths.
The film is based on the Japanese novel of the same name written by Takano Kazuaki. In the film, NCT Jaehyun takes on the main role of Jun Woo who has the ability to predict death.
NCTzens, the fandom name of Jaehyun’s worldwide group NCT, couldn’t hide the newly unblocked milestone of the idol-actor.
“You Will Die After Six Hours” marks Jaehyun’s debut to the silver screen after venturing into acting in 2022 with the romance teen drama “Dear.M.”
NCT Jaehyun, who has dominated the global scene with his talents and visuals, is expected to showcase an improved acting performance through his first ever film project.

On the other hand, seasoned actors Park Ju Hyun and Kwak Si Yang also join the cast ensemble to strengthen the upcoming production.
Park Ju Hyun & Kwak Si Yang To Complete Film Ensemble
NCT Jaehyun will be joined by skilled actors Park Ju Hyun and Kwak Si Yang in the Japanese webtoon-based film.
Park Ju Hyun takes on the role of Jung Yoon, a young woman whose run-of-the-mill life turns upside down after receiving a death notice from a man who can predict death.
The actress recently made headlines with her wide acting spectrum through dramas “Love All Play” and “The Forbidden Marriage.”
Finally, Kwak Si Yang, who has curated his flawless filmography with his supporting roles in “Lovers of the Red Sky,” “Alice” and more, transforms into an elite homicide detective named Ki Hoon.
He is a man who lives by his principles and warm heart. Ki Hoon’s involvement with Jun Woo raises excitement among fans who couldn’t wait to know more about his brand new character.
In addition, the chemistry between NCT Jaehyun, Park Ju Hyun and Kwak Si Yang, stars from different generations, is also among the factors to look forward to in the upcoming film.
