Director Lee Na Jeong, who helmed the hit Korean dramas “Fight for My Way,” “Love Alarm, ” “Mine,” and “Oh My Venus,” will make her Hollywood debut.
Recently, Korean actors Park Seo Joon and Yoo Teo were rumored and confirmed to have made it to Hollywood. As the Korean wave expands its horizon not just in Asia but also in the West, Lee Na Jeong has been recognized and will soon share her gifts and creativity in filmmaking.
Director Lee Na Jeong Makes it to Hollywood
In a recent report covered by Korean news outlet Newsis, “Mine” director Lee Na Jeong is confirmed to set foot in Hollywood as she officially signed with Brillstein Entertainment.
Fine Cut, an overseas distribution company, announced that the director recently signed a management contract with Brillstein Entertainment in the United States, the company that handles Hollywood superstars Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt and His production company Plan B.

Lee Na Jeong to Work with World Class Directors
According to the report, the contract was made possible through the CEO of Fine Cut, Seo Young Joo, also the person who distributed the movie “Snowy Road,” which Lee Na Jeong also directed.
Considered as one of the leading Korean female directors, Lee Na Jeong will be using her distinct voice in a wider market.
Now that she is about to start another exciting journey, the “Love Alarm” director is ready to work with her senior managers namely Italian director Stefano Solima of “Sicario,” Danish director Susan Bier of the box office hit film “Birdbox,” French director Eric Rochamp of “Valerian: The City of a Thousand Planets,” and “Orphan Black” writer Gram Manson.
In addition, after the drama “Mine,” Seo Young Joo has been actively proposing Lee Na Jeong for Hollywood management, highly recommending the director’s potential and directing skills.
When the news appeared on the headlines, the “Fight for My Way” director shared her thoughts on making it in Hollywood.
She said, “As a Korean director who focused on directing TV dramas, I am very happy to have the opportunity in the US. All audiences enjoy good content, regardless of nationality.”
She remarked, “Audiences in the world can overcome barriers may it be nationality or language. I look forward to communicating with people and making meaningful projects from dramas to movies.”
Lee Na Jeong will also be working on a new project, which is said to be based on a famous fantasy-romance webtoon series. It is scheduled to begin production in 2022.
