Producers from YouTube channels M2 and Studio Choom, both of which cater to Korean artists’ content, revealed who they think are the best dancers. They also chose their favorite performances among their works.

Stray Kids Hyunjin, ITZY Chaeryeong Selected as Best Main Dancers
On March 8, part 2 of the interview video with M2 and Studio Choom PDs was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of CJ ENM.
During the broadcast, the producers delved into the topic of idols they have worked with, then selected the best dancers and performances.
Producer Lee Yuri was asked who the best main dancers for her are.
In response, she revealed that she actually gave it a lot of thought, and as a result, Lee said:
“For male idols, I’ll choose Stray Kids Hyunjin… they (group) have the highest views for our contents. In regards to Hyunjin, his dance is very powerful and has great control as well as ability to express himself the way he wants.”

While the other PDs agreed in chorus, Lee continued:
“For female idols, I’ll say ITZY. Each member has their unique individual charms, but if I were to choose just one, it would be Chaeryeong. Even those who are not familiar with her would say, ‘Oh, so this is what they mean by great moves?’ upon seeing her. She has this charm of making you want to re-watch her video.”
Lee added by praising Stray Kids and ITZY, giving them the nickname, “Faces of Studio Choom” and highlighted how their respective videos for “God’s Menu” and “WANNABE” both hit 50 million views.
M2, Studio Choom PDs Choose SHINee’s ‘Don’t Call Me’, GFriend’s ‘Mago’, More as Favorite Performances
As the interview went on, the PDs were asked about their favorite Studio Choom performances.
PD Im Tae Hong answered:
“It’s ‘Don’t Call Me’ by SHINee. (They were so cool). I really like SHINee. The performance is my favorite after ‘Everybody.’ Member Key’s dance really stands out.”
M2 PD Nam Dong Yoon also answered:
“My favorite is GFriend’s ‘Mago.’ Their outfits and the lights look really pretty, and I think I’ve watched it about 10 times. “
Lastly, PD Lee chose Chung Ha’s “Stay Tonight,” and explained:
“The artist, dancers and lights are just… everything was in sync.”
Meanwhile, PD Lee mentioned THE BOYZ Juyeon and revealed that he holds the record of the most take, completing the video after 138 takes just to perfectly capture both his incredible dance and facial expression.
For high-energy energizer idols, the PDs select ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, and TXT who never get tired despite heavy performances.
For idols who left a deep impression, SEVENTEEN, Sunmi and Kep1er were selected, while for professional idol groups, they commended 2PM and Apink.
Lastly, for idols the PDs want to visit their show, PD Lee selected BLACKPINK Lisa and M2 PD chose BTS.
